About me & How I Work
I'm Suzie Pugh, an experienced BACP Registered Counsellor, CBT Practitioner, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. I work exclusively online, offering therapy across the UK and internationally. I specialise in Attachment-focused therapy and Inner Child Work. I also support clients with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorders, eating disorders, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (body image issues), managing or surviving narcissistic relationships, and also their own relationship/communication issues. My approach is collaborative, curious and tailored to your needs. Being an integrative therapist, we can explore the most appropriate therapy style for you. Each session focuses solely on you, including what you would like to talk about and at what pace. We can tailor your treatment plan to suit your unique needs, helping you overcome challenges and equipping you with practical, resourceful tools for the future. With a Person-Centred approach, I can also draw on evidence-based CBT techniques and attachment-focused therapy, helping you to understand patterns, manage emotions and build stronger, healthier relationships. In addition to therapy, I offer on-line clinical supervision to trainee therapists, newly qualified practitioners, and experienced clinicians. My supervision is warm, relational and grounded in attachment-focused principles. I aim to create a safe, reflective space where you can bring the whole of yourself - client issues that feel complex, moments of doubt or uncertainty, ethical dilemmas, risk concerns or simply the emotional impact of the work.Together, we can explore your clinical decision-making, deepen your reflective capacity, and develop your confidence.I am available free of charge between sessions for consultation on pressing ethical or safeguarding concerns, ensuring ongoing support as you navigate your practice.I'm currently completing CPCAB Accredited Level 7 Post Graduate Training (Masters level) in Attachment-Focused Psychotherapy (finishing June 2026) and will also be expanding my practice to include couples counselling in the near future.
In this short video I share a little about how I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist. I offer online therapy and CBT to clients across the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.
